How to remove someone from your Facebook Business Page Newsfeed

Do you have someone that posts every hour on the hour?  Is it clogging up your newsfeed?

I understand that Facebook is a great advertising tool, but it can get a bit much when their posts are the only thing you can see in your newsfeed.

Generally, most people on Facebook check their pages  a couple of times a day, depending on their situation it could be in the morning, around lunchtime, late afternoon or later at night.  Heavy Facebookers would do all four!

I think a couple of posts a day are enough to keep your page in the top of the newsfeed, any more than that and people will start getting annoyed and start removing you from their lists. And remember if you post to various groups, these all appear as well!

So, if someone is clogging your newsfeed with unwanted updates, you don't have to "unfriend" or "de-like" them, you can just stop seeing their posts. Then when you've got the time you can go to that person's profile or their page and read up on their posts - at your convenience.

Here's how:-

  1. Hover your mouse over the top-right corner of the post and you’ll see a blue "x" giving you the option to remove the post.
  2. When you click on it, it gives you the option of telling Facebook that you aren’t interested in seeing any more posts from this user.
