Proofreading - is it important?

Just read this interesting article "Proofreading is Serious" by Rosemary Osborne on the "Flying Solo micro business forum".

Personally, I am a bit of a stickler for things like spelling, grammar and punctuation. I believe it adds a level of professionalism to your website, not to mention making your customers feel comfortable with the quality of your work.

What do you think? Is proofreading important to you? Do you see spelling mistakes and typo's as a reflection of quality?
