Make sure you schedule regular time to add articles to your blog, link it up with your Facebook and Twitter accounts and if your blog is hosted separately to your website, then make sure you put a feed on your website.
I would start your blog by answering your most frequently asked questions, one question per blog post and don't forget you can schedule your posts so they can appear whenever you like.
