I have set up my business blog so that it links through to my business facebook page, my business twitter account and is also showing on my website. This is so that when I post to my blog it automatically goes through to the other social media accounts I have set up.
Why do I do this rather than post directly onto facebook or twitter? Well, I have a couple of reasons.
1. If I post to my blog account - it's separately searchable via the web. So they can find my post via my facebook, website, twitter account AND my blog account.
2. If I post to my blog account - I can set up labels or categories so that if people have seen my post previously and are now looking for it, they can go to my blogsite, click on the category and up comes the relevant posts. If I posted direct onto facebook or twitter, the person would need to scroll down through all my posts and messages to find the relevant article.
